Tinting and lens colour

The self-tinting lenses of RB Photochromic ski goggles help your eyes in constantly changing light conditions and thus enable good visibility.

The photochromic technology ensures that the glasses darken by themselves in sunshine and brighten in bad weather conditions.

This means that the lenses of the RB Photochromic ski goggles easily adapt to changing light conditions, giving outstanding protection against glare!

Mirroring

Mirrored ski goggles are ideal in conditions of bright sunshine or strong reflections. The light is reflected back by the lens, which prevents the eyes from being dazzled. The light transmission varies according to the thickness of the mirror coating. It usually ranges from 4% to over 50%.

Mirrored ski goggles are not suitable in very poor light conditions, however. The low light levels cannot penetrate the mirroring, thus reducing visibility.

Lens coating

RB Photochromic ski goggles have an anti-fog coating that prevents the lens from fogging in changing temperature conditions.

The goggles also have an anti-scratch coating. This improves scratch resistance and provides additional protection.

Cylindrical goggle lens

RB Photochromic ski goggles have a cylindrical lens, with a medium-sized frame and a good fit. RB Photochromic ski goggles offer a wide field of vision – not only to the sides but also up and down.

Ventilation system

An effective ventilation system removes humid, warm air from the ski goggles, thus preventing steaming up or fogging.

User comfort

Comfortable foam prevents pressure marks from forming on the face. The foam adapts to your face to ensure comfortable wearing.

RB Photochromic ski goggles have adjustable straps for a perfect fit on your head or helmet. The strap has a silicon strip that helps prevent the goggles from slipping when on the helmet.

UV protection

RB Photochromic ski goggles offer 100% protection from UV-A rays. Proper protection against UV radiation is especially important in the mountains as the radiation intensity is particularly high.

Ski goggles for glasses wearers

RB Photochromic ski goggles are suitable for glasses wearers. They are “Over The Glasses” (OTG) compatible and can thus be worn comfortably over optical glasses.
