Tinting and lens colour

The self-tinting lenses of Tigo Photochromic sports glasses help your eyes in constantly changing light conditions and thus enable good visibility.

The photochromic technology ensures that the glasses darken by themselves in sunshine and brighten in bad weather conditions.

This means that the lenses of the Tigo Photochromic sports glasses easily adapt to changing light conditions, giving outstanding protection against glare!

Mirroring

Mirrored sports glasses are ideal in conditions of bright sunshine or strong reflections. The light is reflected back by the lens, which prevents the eyes from being dazzled. The light transmission varies according to the thickness of the mirror coating. It usually ranges from 4% to over 50%.

Mirrored sports glasses are not suitable in very poor light conditions, however. The low light levels cannot penetrate the mirroring, thus reducing visibility.

Anti-fog

Tigo Photochromic sports glasses have an anti-fog coating that prevents the glasses from fogging in changing temperature conditions.

Anti-scratch

The lens also has an anti-scratch coating. This improves scratch resistance and provides additional protection.

Ventilation system

An effective ventilation system removes humid, warm air from the glasses, thus preventing steaming up and fogging.
